Fórmula magistral con propiedades para el tratamiento de infecciones respiratorias virales

Introduction The combined use of herbal extracts that was used as a preventive measure and treatment in the outbreak caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome in the city of Hong Kong in 2003, made us propose a masterful formula for viral respiratory conditions “common cold, influenza and SARS CoV-2”. The synergy of the properties of the components of the masterful formula can regulate the organism, being a preventive and support treatment for these viremias. Method An intentional bibliographic searching was carried out in order to be able to identify the most suitable components for a masterful formula which prevents and treats viral respiratory conditions. The searches were of electronic and manual type of various bibliographic sources: articles, digital library, clinical practice guidelines, books, internet links, official standards and magazines. The database used in the articles was PubMed. These bibliographic sources used, were considered to cover the themes and sub-themes of this review. Results 87 bibliographic sources were reviewed, which affirmed and supported that the components of the master formula: aloe vera, ginger, thyme, cinnamom, lemon and magnesium have the desired effect, immunostimulant. In addition, the properties found in these components of the masterful formula: analgesic, angioprotective, antiallergic, antibacterial, antihyperglycemic, antihypertensive, antiinflammatory, antinociceptive, antioxidant, antipyretic, antithrombotic, antitumor, antitussive, antiviral, benefits ciliary movement, bronchodilator, hypnotic, immunomodulatory and mucolytic. By performing synergy and acting on the body, it could be prescribed in viral respiratory conditions and specifically: Common rhinitis, Influenza and COVID-19. Conclusion With this new COVID-19 pandemics, the world is waiting for an effective vaccine. Nutrition and Phytotherapy play an important and safe role in helping to mitigate the morbidity and mortality from viral respiratory infections. Medicinal plants and magnesium-vitamin D, are essential for immune function and cellular resilience, a deficiency in any of them can contribute to the cytokine storm in SARS CoV-2 infection. Relevance to patients As demonstrated in the systematic reviews of the components of the Magisterial Formula (MF) and the magnesium compound, its properties and biological effects can counteract viral conditions: common cold, influenza and SAR7S CoV-2. And consider MF as a treatment of first choice, preventive and adjuvant. La sinergia de las propiedades de los componentes de la fórmula magistral (FM) puede regular al organismo, siendo un tratamiento preventivo y de sostén para estas viremias. Método Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica intencionada con el fin de poder identificar los componentes más idóneos para una FM la cual prevenga y trate afecciones respiratorias virales. Las búsquedas fueron del tipo electrónico y manual de varías fuentes bibliográficas: artículos, biblioteca digital, guías de práctica clínica, libros, ligas en internet, normas oficiales y revistas. La base de datos utilizada en los artículos fue PubMed. Estas fuentes bibliográficas utilizadas se contemplaron para cubrir los temas y subtemas de esta revisión. Resultados Se revisaron 87 fuentes bibliográficas, las cuales afirmaron y sustentaron que los componentes de la FM: Sábila, Jengibre, Tomillo, Canela, Limón y Magnesio, sí tienen el efecto deseado, inmunoestimulante. Además, las propiedades encontradas en estos componentes de la fórmula magistral: analgésico, angioprotector, antialérgico, antibacteriano, antihiperglicemiante, antihipertensivo, antiinflamatorio, antinociceptivo, antioxidante, antipirético, antitrombótico, antitumoral, antitusivo, antiviral, beneficia el movimiento ciliar, broncodilatador, hipnótico, inmunomodulador y mucolítico. Al realizar sinergia y actuar sobre el organismo, podrían ser prescritas en afecciones respiratorias virales y de manera específica: Rinitis común, Influenza y COVID-19. 5203. Conclusión Con la nueva Pandemia COVID-19, el mundo espera una vacuna eficaz. La nutrición y Fitoterapia desempeñan un papel importante y seguro para ayudar a mitigar la morbilidad y la mortalidad de las infecciones respiratorias virales. Las plantas medicinales y el magnesio-vitamina D, son medulares para la función inmunológica y la resiliencia celular, una deficiencia en cualquiera de ellos puede contribuir a la tormenta de citocinas en la infección. por el SARS CoV-2. Relevancia para los pacientes Como se demostró en las revisiones sistemáticas de los componentes de la FM y el compuesto del magnesio, sus propiedades y efectos biológicos pueden contrarrestar las afecciones virales: resfriado común, influenza y SARS CoV-2. Y considerar a la FM como un tratamiento de primera elección, preventivo y coadyuvante.
